MVC History

MVC is not a new public chain that came out of thin air. Its underlying technology comes from the UTXO+POW model that has been verified for more than ten years.

  • 2021.09 The underlying technology used for MVC transaction data clipping or multiplexing and a layer of contracts was invented and published.

  • 2022.01 The design of a MetaID scheme suitable for UTXO blockchain is completed.

  • 2022.02 The first version of the MVC node program entered development.

  • 2022.03 The MetaTXID technical solution applied to MVC completed the detailed design and was authorized for implementation.

  • 2022.03 MetaContract, a Turing-complete high-performance smart contract solution under the UTXO model, completed the design.

  • 2022.05 The MVC Alpha test network was launched, the MetaContract solution was verified, the blockchain processing performance was verified, and a score of 5000+tps was achieved.

  • 2022.08 The MVC Beta test network was launched, and the main ecology, including a large number of data service providers, wallets, Web3 applications, Defi applications, etc., migrated to the MVC test network.

  • 2023.01.26 Mainnet launch
